When did the Jade Emperor become the Jade Emperor?

The Jade Emperor spent at least 226.8 million years cultivating to reach the position of the Jade Emperor.

The first chapter of Journey to the West says:

According to the number of heaven and earth, one hundred and twenty-nine thousand six hundred years is one dollar. One yuan is divided into twelve groups, which are the twelve branches of Zi, Chou, Yin, Mao, Chen, Si, Wu, Wei, Shen, You, Xu and Hai.

Then this dollar is compared with a day, and a moment is compared with a dollar. One day has the alternation of day and night according to the twelve branches, and the one element also has the alternation of chaotic times and clear days according to the twelve branches. Each element is a reincarnation that gradually evolves from chaos into heaven and earth, giving birth to humans, beasts, and birds, and then from this clarity to chaos.

This is the seventh chapter, what Tathagata said when Wukong told Tathagata that he wanted to be the Jade Emperor.

When the Buddha heard this, he sneered and said: "That guy of yours is just a monkey turned spirit. How dare you deceive your heart and want to seize the Jade Emperor's throne? He has been practicing since he was a child and has gone through a thousand and seven hardships." One hundred and fifty kalpas, each kalpa is worth 129,600 years. How many years do you think he should have before he can enjoy this infinite path? How could you, a beast in his first life, say such a thing, not being a son of man? Son of man! It’s a waste of time for you! Convert yourself as soon as possible, but you may be killed in an instant. What a pity you are!”

The Jade Emperor experienced one thousand seven hundred and fifty years. In the ten reincarnations of heaven and earth, what they learned from the scriptures was nothing more than a trivial matter in one of the reincarnations. No wonder the Buddha said that Wukong was just a beast in his first human form. Compared to Wukong, the Jade Emperor was really nowhere higher.
