Yin Shi, the county magistrate, was feverish and thirsty. He doesn't want to hear people's voices and has difficulty urinating. Hua Tuo said, "Try cooking hot rice. Sweat after dinner, and you'll be fine. If you don't sweat, you will die in three days. " So he immediately cooked a hot meal for the patient. He didn't sweat after eating. Hua Tuo said: "The vitality of the five internal organs has been broken, and he may cry to death." The result is the same as what Hua Tuo said.

Two officials from the county government, Xun and Li Yan, came to see Hua Tuo. Both of them have a headache and a fever, and they feel exactly the same. Hua Tuo said, "Erxun wants to vent and Li Yan wants to sweat." Some people question why the treatment of the same disease is different. Hua Tuo said: "Erxun is weak inside, but Li Yan is solid outside, so we should treat him in different ways." Then they were given different drugs, and both of them recovered the next morning.

Salt begets strict demands, and several people went to Huatuo to play. Just arrived, Hua Tuo said to Yan, "How are you?" Yan listened: "As usual." Hua Tuo said, "I can see from your face that you are in a hurry. Don't drink too much. " Yanting and others sat down and went home. After walking a few miles, Yan Ting suddenly felt dizzy and fell off the car. People supported him to go home by bus and died the next night.
