I think that one day when you meet someone who is complaining that there is no "empathy" like you, you can feel her feelings. I think this should be regarded as empathy.

others often can't share it for her,

but since they can't share it and want to comfort, it's easy to say:

I know you are upset, and so am I. It's understandable.

We might as well accept their kindness instead of worrying about whether the words are against our will.

One day, when you meet someone who has the same experience as you,

when your once painful feeling is aroused,

when you really feel the same way,

helping TA is helping yourself at that time,

I think this may be what "empathy" can bring us.
