I’m bored to death with the worries about arts and sciences. I’m a freshman in high school and a sophomore in Chinese. I’m not very good at math and my English is poor. I’m interested in learning about physics and chemistry.

I am a freshman in high school and I chose science. After entering science, my feeling is that the depth of science has indeed increased to a certain extent, but as long as you are willing to work hard, do more different types, and pay attention to review for each type of question, science is still very simple (but carelessness is a taboo). The idea of ??thinking about the question is very important. If you do it more, it will feel natural.

As for liberal arts, I think you really need to have excellent memory and analytical skills to achieve good results. I memorized political history carefully in the first semester of high school, and the best teacher in the first grade taught me how to answer questions. Political history can still only get second-rate scores, so my point of view is that as long as you work hard, you are more certain to improve in science, but not necessarily in liberal arts, because it requires analytical skills. As for the teacher's statement that liberal arts is easy, it is only one-sided. Everyone's situation is different. Like me, I have always found liberal arts to be more difficult and not interesting, so I chose science without hesitation. But this is my personal opinion, and it may not be comprehensive. You can ask a few deans of liberal arts and science departments to tell them what qualifications are needed to study liberal arts/science, and then make a decision based on your specific circumstances, such as interests and convenience. Hope this helps you
