Wu (played by) and Beethoven (played by Cen Jianxun) are a pair of clown policemen in the anti-gang unit of Hong Kong Island Police Station. They have been playing around and doing nothing for more than ten years as junior police officers. Fortunately, they are naturally optimistic, and Sir Chen takes good care of them, so they also enjoy this carefree life. As the saying goes, fools are blessed with fools, which is also favored by Anna Ye Dexian, the female secretary of Sir Chen.

They were ordered to investigate Xia Zhengyi (Chen Long), a businessman who made a fortune by engaging in illegal activities, but the other side was particularly cunning and didn't show any clues. Xia's mistress holds the account books of his various criminal activities and uses them as a threat. Xia ordered his men to kill their mistresses, and Beethoven became the first people to find the bodies. Xia Zhengyi reached out to Xiaosan's cousin in order to get the ledger. Can Qiu Ya and Beethoven bring criminals to justice?

Behind-the-scenes tidbits A typical Hong Kong-style comedy in the 1980s, which combines elements such as gangster, criminal investigation, comedy and action, has a luxurious star lineup and won a high box office. Cen Jianxun, who plays Beethoven, an anti-gang member, and Richard Ng, who plays A Qiu, are the funniest couple in the film.

The wonderful performance of Shen Yong's double box is a classic hand-written by a ghost and a horse, and even the classic comedies Punk and Aki and Sharpshooter and Chicken Curry in the 1990s are deeply influenced by it.

Once the film was released, it led the box office again and again, and even achieved the seventh good result of the total box office in that year.
