What's it like to be a professional chess player?

Everything is a matter of mentality. I have been learning chess since I was 6 years old. I was very interested at first, and soon I got many good results. Then I have been wandering between amateur and professional. I was an amateur when I was a child. However, the problem came to high school. Either join the national youth team to develop a major, or go to an ordinary high school to play amateur. I chose the latter. The coach said that if I have any problems with my guidance, I will be beaten, and my grades will also be beaten. I'm afraid of losing badly. When I was a child, I was afraid of being beaten. I want to keep my grades when I grow up. Needless to say, everyone knows this. Long-term competition, long-term pressure, boring.
