What is Murphy's Law?

Murphy's law mainly tells us four aspects:

1, nothing is as simple as it seems;

2. Everything will take longer than you expected;

3. Things that can go wrong will always go wrong;

If you are worried about something happening, it is more likely to happen.

The fundamental content of "Murphy's Law" is that "everything that can go wrong has a high probability of going wrong", that is to say, as long as there is a probability greater than zero, it cannot be assumed that it will not happen.

Define origin:

In 1949, an engineer named eddie murphy, an air force captain, played a casual joke on one of his unfortunate colleagues: if something is likely to be done badly, it will be even worse if he is allowed to do it.

At first, a harmless joke didn't mean anything, just said the helplessness brought by bad luck. Perhaps because there are too many unfortunate people in this world, or because people always make such mistakes, this sentence spread quickly and was finally interpreted as: if a bad thing is possible, no matter how unlikely it is, it will always happen and cause the greatest possible loss.
