Luz rushed into the city, attacked the besieged Kong Mao, and fought with two warriors under Kuaiqin. As a result, outnumbered, his hat band was broken by Ge in the battle. Lutz realized that there was no way out of this situation. He calmly picked up his hat and said, "When a gentleman dies, he must have a crown." While wearing a hat and belt, Luz was killed by his opponent and then chopped into a paste by a group of gangsters.

This was a heroic sacrifice in the winter of Lu Aigong's 15th year (480 BC). At that time, Luz was 63 years old.

When he heard that there was a coup in Weiguo, Confucius, who knew his disciples very well, said in dismay, "Gao Chai will definitely escape and Luz will definitely be killed." Sure enough, a few days later, Gao Chai came back with a terrible letter saying that Luz had been killed. This time, Confucius was so sad that he cried in the atrium and shouted, "Oh, my life is over!" " "He heard the messenger say that Luz had been chopped into meat paste, so he immediately asked someone to dump the meat paste he was going to eat at home.

On the way, a classmate shouted: the city gate is closed, don't go back! At the city gate, the gatekeeper general Gong also stopped him: Don't go in again! Can't stop the road. Lutz just said, "Eat what you want, don't avoid its difficulties" and "If you benefit from it, you will save its pain". He knew that he was ill-fated, and he also thought about eating people's money and being loyal to others. He should have been entrusted with an important task and avoided difficulties in times of crisis, so he died in battle. When he died, he said, "When a gentleman dies, he must have a crown." So I sat up and died. Die calmly, die with dignity and die grandly. When Confucius heard that the country was in chaos, he said, "You are dead!" "Others can avoid disaster, Lutz must be dead! Confucius knows the depth of people, and it is really painful to predict.

Confucius knew his students, and once taught Luz to be "afraid of urgent needs and easy to seek" with Luz's brave and loyal temperament. I have long said that he could not die.
