Travel notes of Hancheng

? Text/Zhao Bin?

Yesterday, the rain was sparse. This morning, my brother Cai Jian and his parents-in-law and I went to Hancheng in the fresh air that was washed away. Although I have never cooperated with this ancient city, my brother talks about Kan Kan every time he thinks about it, which makes him very mysterious. I'm going to solve my long-standing knot today.

From Houma to Xichi of Beijing-Kunming Expressway, the scenic spots along the way are constantly marked. When we arrived at Jishan Road, my brother said that there was a big Buddhist temple not far from the high-speed entrance, which contained the largest native Buddha in China. After several discussions, we decided to enter the Big Buddha Temple to see the Buddha's capacity. The gate of the Great Buddha Temple is ten meters wide and about five or six meters high. This is an ancient building with three pagodas. The temple gate under the plaque is closed. I went under the balcony and motioned to the window. An old man waved to me and asked before knowing that it was closed at present. I didn't want to leave on impulse. Although I didn't go in, I took a photo between two lion statues in front of the temple. The lion statue hummed with both hands and squatted down to bow to the iron lion.

When the Great Buddha Temple returned to the expressway, due to navigation errors, it took three or four kilometers by mistake and marched in the small farmhouse with a winding path. I only turned back when there was no road ahead, so my brother kept going. I remember that a few years ago, I went to a friend's house in Tanyang Township with freshmen from Yang Xiong to add gifts. It was also because of navigation errors that I strayed into the wilderness and chose a path to pass by. This is really a place to introduce tomatoes.

If you want to drive through the Longmen in Hejin and go directly to Hancheng, you have to go through Dayu Temple a few miles away from Longmen. Because the temple is on the roadside, you will turn sideways into a small station in the temple. Above the temple gate plaque, hydrangea is decorated in red. Tanzhe Temple couplet: "Millennium Yu's achievements are unparalleled, the first gate of the Yellow River in Wan Li", with a statue inside the gate and wings on both sides. On the left, the couplet reads: "The jade horn is far away from Xirong", and on the right, it reads: "All countries dress in pilgrimage, and one side casts a monument in hot land". With the Temple Gate as the central axis, there are Guodian and Dayu Store. There are pavilions on both sides of the temple gate, and there are bells and drums in the pavilion, which means morning bell and dusk drum. Around the central axis of the temple, there are the Temple of God of Wealth, the Temple of Gui Ren, the Temple of Medicine King and the Temple of Empress, all in the style of ancient buildings, with carved wooden doors and painted buildings, which are full of ancient meanings. There are four seasons and Yun Song in the yard. Walking, the spring is just right. Although Dayu Temple is an ancient building, it is nothing special from other scenic spots, so it is not the final destination. I flew away after a while, as everyone in Dayu knows, so I won't go into details here.

Walking on the gantry, trucks rush back and forth, and the road is bumpy, which should be caused by heavy trucks passing through all the year round. According to my brother, Longmen is the narrowest part of the Yellow River, only 60 meters. Because there are protruding buildings on the shore, there is no sight of the other side of the Yellow River, and cars come and go, and they can't stop for a long time. My brother said there is another scenic spot not far along the road, because the embankment is low, so the speed can't be raised naturally. You can peek into the Yellow River from the car, and there are one or two cruise ships floating in it. When I arrived at Qibali Road in the scenic spot, I saw the slogan: "Climb the Millennium Road Ladder Cliff and Explore the Peach Blossom Valley", only to know that my brother was talking about the ladder cliff. There is a four-story building under the cliff. You can look up at the step cliff when you walk through the bottom of the building. The cliff is very steep and almost vertical. The ground is hundreds of meters from the top of the cliff. Looking up, there is a corridor like a ladder at the top of the cliff. I don't know, because I haven't reached the top yet. My brother and I both remembered Li Bai's poem "Climbing over the eaves and climbing over the walls, three thousands of feet". The facilities in the Tiantai Cliff Scenic Area are monotonous and the air is not very good, because there are big cars passing by the roadside.

When I turned back to Longmen, I couldn't go directly from Longmen to Shaanxi because the vehicles I drove didn't match, and I couldn't feel the artistic conception of carp yue longmen. When crossing the Yellow River to Hancheng, it was noon, and a tower appeared not far from the ancient city. It was very eye-catching, with eight floors and a height of about 30 to 40 meters. There is a main street in the ancient city with scenic spots on both sides. There are many shops and merchants on both sides of the street. Food, clothing, housing and transportation are not bad. The first stop was Jiulang Temple in Hancheng, which was built in the first year of Yuan Dynasty (1308) and rebuilt in Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is a temple in the Yuan Dynasty, dedicated to the doctors of the Jin State in the Spring and Autumn Period, namely, Yiying Hou Zhaowu, Gongsun Yujiu and Cheng Ying. Jiulang refers to the orphan of Zhao style, and Jiulang is homophonic with salvation. According to "Hancheng County Records", Jiulang Temple was built in Zhou Xianwang for five years, and it is famous for saving the world. There was a female staff member in the temple who talked to me many times. Because she can't speak Mandarin, she can't hear clearly. After careful argument, she knew she was wearing a mask. In front of the temple, there is a couplet inscribed by Wang Jie in the spring of the 29th year of Qianlong: "When you worship God, there are always three salutations when you enter the temple.".

The main streets are Beiying Temple, Champion House, Qingshan Temple, Imperial Palace, City God Temple and Wang Chuang Palace. Because the Champion House, Royal Guards House and Wang Chuang Palace were closed during the epidemic, four people went into the food court and chose a noodle restaurant. My brother chose another one because he liked cold noodles. The food streets are all antique buildings, and the shops are not big. The shopkeeper is very hospitable. When they see pedestrians, most of them ask questions. When they visited the food court, they saw an antique gatehouse, which looked like a small yard from the outside to the inside. They just wanted to take out their mobile phones and take photos when they saw the sign on the left side of the door saying "toilet". They hurried away with dumb smiles and almost made a joke.

After dinner, there was a lecturer outside Qingshan Temple, so I followed everyone to the lecture. Unfortunately, I didn't go to Qingshan Temple to have a look. After turning three or four corners, you arrive at the Royal Guards. There are five plaques hanging at the main entrance: "Royal Guards, Jinshi, Wen Kui, Wu Kui and Lian Deng". It is the former residence of Zhang Tongzhi's Jinshi, Lanling bodyguard, Zhili captain Zhang Hongbiao, Xianfeng nine-year strategist Zhang Hongji, and Tongzhi twelve-year strategist, that is, the Three Lists.

Chenghuang Temple is a super-large ancient architectural complex with the largest scale, the highest architectural grade and good preservation in the ancient city. Its architecture is magnificent and its golden walls are brilliant. It declares the concept of people worshiping theocracy in the past, such as promoting good and abandoning evil. Enter the temple, pass the church and state square, pass the unknown gate, pass the Guangjian Hall, and then hang the Dadexin Hall. The two plaques in the hall are "Prosperous Age, Brilliant Nature, Good Heaven". There are many auxiliary halls in the temple, mainly around Dexin Hall.

There is a museum in the south of Chenghuang Temple, which goes through the alley to the main entrance of the museum. Because the tickets are too expensive, there are old people playing chess outside the museum. My brother stood by and watched for a long time, shouting several times that he didn't want to leave.

There are two gates at the southern end of the main street of the ancient city, which are not open. The title on the gate is "The moire is wonderful, suitable for this paradise". Seeing that there was no place to see around, I went back along the street and passed by the Champion House on the way. Wang Jie was the only champion in Northwest China in the imperial examinations of the Qing Dynasty for more than 300 years. Emperor Jiaqing gave him a poem saying, "The corridor temple is built on the straight road, and the cool breeze sends you cool." Go back to Hancheng. "Turn back to the north along the main street, build a martyrs cemetery, and climb more than 80 steps first, showing a trend of high in the north and low in the south. The central axis of the cemetery is built, and there are mausoleum roads on both sides, which are getting higher and higher. There is a memorial tower for revolutionary martyrs in Hancheng. After crossing the tower, the path turns around and the ticket hole goes straight to Zhaizhai Tower. This tower is the first building you saw when you came. The bottom of the tower offers a panoramic view of the ancient city from the south.

Emperor Wendi changed xia yang to Hancheng in 18. Up to now, the ancient city has concentrated buildings and is a place where cultural relics gather. After 1300 years of ups and downs, the scenery remains the same. The best memory of this city is to write this travel note and record her simple and heavy history with my words. When you can't see all the scenic spots in order to go back to Hancheng in the future, there will be no more.
