Inertia thinking makes jokes.

In our life, we will encounter some things, and our first reaction is to interpret and deal with the problems according to the experiences in our minds.

A new employee came to my warehouse with a water level board and asked me for materials. When I saw it, I subconsciously thought it should be raw materials, so I took him to the raw material stacking place of injection molding products and pointed to the raw materials and said to him, "No, this is it." He looked puzzled: "Why is it in the bag?" But get a car and pull it over. After a while, he pulled a long wooden cart, which is usually used to load plastic parts into and out of the warehouse. It is unnecessary to load raw materials with such a cart!

In fact, while he was away, I already called the director of the injection molding workshop. At present, the injection products are stirred by a blender, and the materials are not directly pulled back to the warehouse.

I told him the situation and told him to ask the team leader, inspector or workshop director before picking materials in the future, so as not to run the wrong way again. In addition, tell him to return the car to its original place and put it in the place where it was pulled, so as not to lose it when others use it.

He looked at me stupidly and said, this is my car. Of course I have to pull it over there. I didn't care much, so I waved him away.

After a while, the leader of the delivery team in the assembly workshop took him into my door. I realized that this person is not from the injection workshop, but from the assembly workshop. Just now I expressed my wrong feelings, which was a complete waste of expression and an own goal. How did this happen?

I considered two reasons. First, this is a new employee. I don't know which workshop he is from. I subconsciously think that the materials in my warehouse must be from the injection molding workshop. Secondly, he took a plastic part as a sample and did the same operation as the new employee in the previous injection workshop: he didn't know what material was used for a product, but just took a sample.

Although there are two reasons, there is only one root cause. I dealt with this problem in the old way. Based on my past experience, I didn't ask people in detail at all, so I thought I was right and sent them away.

Thinking about the way others look back at me when they leave is like looking at two idiots. I just hope it's time to go back and start over. Inertia thinking is misleading!
