Why do American media say that the 64GB iPhone 1 1 series is a joke of Apple?

The price of the 64GB version of iPhone 1 1 is 699 dollars (about 4945 yuan), and the starting price of the 64GB version of iPhone XR is 749 dollars (about 5299 yuan).

However, the starting prices of iPhone 1 1 Pro and iPhone1/pro max reached 999 dollars (about 7068 yuan) and 1099 dollars (about 7775 yuan) respectively, but they still started at 64GB.

Phone Arena said that the operating system takes up about 7GB, and 400MB will be taken for 4K 60fps video shooting every minute, so the capacity of 64GB is stretched for ordinary users.

More importantly, the prices of iPhone 1 1 and iPhone 1 1 Pro Max are quite different. The difference between iPhone11128gb and 256GB versions is 100, and the difference between iPhone11promax 256gb and 5 12GB versions is $200.

Compared with the Android camp, the price difference between Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 256GB and 5 12GB is 100 USD, and the price difference between 7 Pro 128GB and 256GB is only 30 USD, and neither of them has a 64GB version.

Phone Arena stressed that it is nothing new for manufacturers to make profits by using larger storage capacity, but it is absurd for Apple to still use 64GB on the model of nearly 10,000 yuan, and the price gap of different capacity versions is huge.
