Why is Leslie Cheung depressed?

Sensitive personality, too concerned about other people's opinions, too eager to be recognized by others, in fact, many people like him, but not all of them like him, and some even slander him. Sometimes I think some of his ideas are naive. He always thinks that no one will hurt him if he tries his best, so there is something wrong with this idea.
