Is there a moment when you feel that you hate books?

Is there a moment when I feel that I hate books when I use them? It was my first day at work after graduation.

Before graduation, I thought I knew a lot, but when I left campus and stepped into the workplace, I found myself still so ignorant and naive. Many problems cannot be solved by book knowledge. At that moment, I really realized that when books were used, I really didn't hate them so much.

First of all, what needs to be played in the workplace is practical experience and adaptability. Before graduation, most of the knowledge we came into contact with was theories and concepts, and rarely involved specific operation methods and skills. But at work, we will encounter many practical problems, such as how to cooperate with colleagues, how to deal with emergencies, how to solve business problems and so on. These questions cannot be answered by book knowledge, and need to be explored and practiced constantly.

Secondly, what the workplace needs is accumulation and self-improvement. Before graduation, we may think that as long as we master professional knowledge, we can gradually achieve career success with the growth of age. But in fact, the workplace still needs continuous accumulation and self-improvement, including not only professional knowledge, but also some soft skills, such as communication skills, coordination skills, leadership and so on. The accumulation and promotion of these skills need us to try and practice constantly in our work, which books and knowledge can't provide.

Finally, what needs to be dealt with in the workplace is interpersonal relationships. Before graduation, most of us were naive and our interpersonal relationships were relatively simple and easy to handle. But in the workplace, interpersonal relationships are relatively complex, which requires us to deal with all kinds of problems, such as how to communicate with people with different personalities, how to deal with disputes between colleagues and so on. These problems require us to accumulate and improve our handling ability through practice and experience.

In short, the problems I have experienced in my work have made me more deeply understand the meaning of the sentence "use books and hate less". It is far from enough to master some book knowledge, but it also needs constant practice, constant summary and reflection in practice, in order to constantly enrich and improve themselves and finally achieve career success.
