Because of its excellent geographical location, Kitchen God knows everything every family says, does good and evil, and what happens at home.

Legend has it that every year on the 23rd day of the twelfth lunar month, immortals from all walks of life report the worldly situation to the Jade Emperor, so every year, on this day, they will "offer sacrifices to the kitchen". All kinds of fruits, snacks and rice wine are offered to the Kitchen God, and the whole family will kowtow and burn incense devoutly, pleading with the Kitchen God to "speak good words in one day and bring good luck the next" instead of saying bad things, which is called "eating people with short mouths". Every household will worship the kitchen god in the north or east of the kitchen, and some will stick the god directly on the wall.

Not only ordinary people pay attention to the ceremony of offering sacrifices to the kitchen stove, but even the Wangs are respectful to the kitchen god and dare not neglect it at all. According to the draft of Qing history, every year on the 23rd day of the twelfth lunar month, the Qing emperor would worship the kitchen god in Kunning Palace. As the Ninth Five-Year Plan, the emperor will bow down before the kitchen god throne and offer all kinds of exquisite tributes at the same time.
