Are guqin and guzheng the same thing?

Guqin and Guzhen are not a musical instrument, and Guzhen and Guqin are two different musical instruments.

2, playing fingering:

From the fingering point of view, guqin is often called "father", with his left hand pressing the strings, his right hand plucking the strings, and his hands without armor; Guzheng mainly uses the thumb, index finger and middle finger of the right hand to pluck the strings, and the left hand controls the tension. Usually, the left and right hands of guzheng learners need to wear armor.

3, the volume is different:

On the other hand, compared with guzheng, guqin has a lower volume, a deeper and farther range, and a relatively transparent guzheng, which is suitable for playing in large-scale noisy activities.
