The term originated during the slavery period in the American South, when white-dominated society tried its best to suppress the rights and freedoms of African Americans. In those dark ages, "nego" was used as one of the tools to maliciously demean, insult, and even brutally abuse the black community. "Nico" refers to those black people who have no educational qualifications, have not received a good education, or can only receive a low-level education, and have become the typical image of the bottom group of society, so-called "going to a fake school."
