Is joking a form of bullying?

Some examples of bullying I have seen in the name of joking:

1. Sarcastic jokes: Some people use humor to ridicule others, such as making fun of their appearance , words or actions, and these satires are often based on belittling and humiliating others.

2. Pranks in the name of deception: Some people use deception to tease and hurt others. For example, fabricating false information or statements, or creating a false scenario and inducing embarrassing or absurd reactions from the victim.

3. Long-term teasing: Long-term malicious teasing may cause serious psychological problems in the victim. The teasing may involve aspects of the victim, including their appearance, abilities, personality, etc., and is often intended to vent anger.

It is important to note that bullying in the name of joking should not be tolerated. Although in some cases the goal is to relax or relieve stress, this pleasure should not be obtained by hurting or humiliating others. Bullying can have a serious impact on the victim's mental health and can lead to an erosion of trust and self-esteem. If you or someone is being bullied, please seek help from relatives, friends, teachers or relevant institutions around you in time.
