Why don't children now let the elderly go to nursing homes?

With the development of society, there are more and more nursing homes, and the industry is developing better and better. However, with the increasing number of such institutions, another situation has emerged, and many children are reluctant to let their parents live in nursing homes. Many children don't let the elderly live in nursing homes for many reasons.

First of all, the first reason may be that although there are many institutions in nursing homes, many children feel that the system of such institutions is still not perfect, and they hold a distrust attitude towards most nursing homes in the market.

And I think if I put my parents in a nursing home for a long time, I will regret it if I can't see their parents' real life and if I am abused. So many times, even if many children have no time to spend with their parents, they would rather leave their parents alone at home than take such risks.

There are also some reasons, perhaps because many people in modern society feel that if they put their parents in nursing homes, they will be condemned by many people and feel that they are not filial to their parents and cannot stay with them.

But I think this view is wrong, because most children are working outside now and can't accompany their parents. If they leave their parents at home, they will feel lonely. If a large number of people are sent to nursing homes, it may reduce their loneliness, which will only benefit them and make them feel free.

Another reason may be that the cost of nursing homes is relatively high, because many children are junior. They must support their parents and children. If they send their parents to nursing homes, they will have to pay high nursing home fees. For many ordinary families, they may feel a little overwhelmed, so they will feel that leaving their parents around is no worse than sending them to nursing homes, or even better, and will save a sum of money.
