Where did Shanghai Electric Power go?

There are many sources of electricity supply in Shanghai.

1. Part of it comes from several local thermal power plants in Shanghai, including Wujing Thermal Power Plant, Minhang Power Plant, Yangpu Power Plant, Heather Power Plant, Caojing Power Plant, Waigaoqiao Power Plant, Caojing Thermal Power Plant, Wujing Power Plant, Waigaoqiao No.2 Power Plant, Waigaoqiao No.3 Power Plant, Wujing No.2 Power Plant and Huaneng Shidongkou Power Plant.

2. The other part comes from several hydropower stations in the Yangtze River, such as Three Gorges, Gezhouba, East China Hydropower and Jinsha River Hydropower. Jinshajiang hydropower station belongs to Sichuan power grid. Through the Long Fu-Fengxian UHV line in Sichuan, the power of Xiangjiaba Hydropower Station in the lower reaches of Jinsha River is directly sent to Fengxian, Shanghai, and connected to Shanghai power grid.

3. In addition, there are some electric power from East China power grids such as Anhui and Zhejiang, and some local wind power currently under construction.

These power resources jointly provide Shanghai's power supply.
