Why are there no public toilets for men and women in Vietnam?

Vietnam is a very humane country. The purpose of not distinguishing between men and women in public toilets is to alleviate the problem of long queue time for women to go to the toilet and make rational use of the vacant seats in men's toilets.

As we all know, when there are gender differences in public toilets, women are always waiting in line, while men's toilets are not waiting in line. This phenomenon is common in station toilets, service area toilets and even KFC and McDonald's toilets. First of all, we analyze the toilet time of men and women from the actual data. It takes about 70-80 seconds for women to go to the toilet, while it only takes 30-40 seconds for men. And the frequency of going to the toilet is 1.5 times that of men. Among them, it is even more troublesome for women to dress up before and after going to the toilet, even make up, or encounter physiological periods. Moreover, for the sake of beautiful layout, men's toilets and women's toilets are generally located in the same place in existing cities, so there is no such thing as more women's toilets and fewer men's toilets.

Of course, if we make a neutral toilet, our first task is to ensure the safety and privacy of the independent toilet. In order to protect the user's privacy, the asexual toilet should ensure one door and one lock, preferably with good sealing. But it also brings some disadvantages, such as the elderly, children and pregnant women going to the toilet alone, and how to deal with abnormal situations. Or what if there are bad people doing bad things or hidden things in it?

In a word, although there are advantages and disadvantages about this kind of asexual toilet, on the whole, I think it is still suitable for popularization. As long as we are normal people, criminals can do whatever they can in the toilet except in an emergency, even if it is a distinction, so the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.
