(February 28th) Today, China Star, a leading driverless enterprise in China and a pioneer of 5GAI, issued an official statement entitled "Self-cleaning is turbid", announcing that Baidu, known as the "No.2000 case of unmanned driving in China", will be prosecuted according to the civil ruling (20 17) issued by Beijing Intellectual Property Court, and its former senior vice president and the founding of the autonomous driving division will be prosecuted.

20/kloc-in March, 2007, Wang Jin, the former senior vice president of Baidu and the founder of Baidu's autonomous driving division, left his post, and later established Chi Jing Science and Technology, which made the "Chi Jing Speed" that attracted the attention of the industry set the fastest record for unmanned driving companies in China, and once shortened the gap between China and the United States. In February of the same year, Baidu filed a lawsuit against Wang Jin, accusing him of infringing trade secrets. This lawsuit was called "the first case of unmanned driving in China" by the media.

It is understood that from 2017 65438+February to 2019165438+1October, the court held two hearings on this lawsuit respectively. During this period, the top experts in the domestic intellectual property field held an expert demonstration meeting on this case, and submitted the Legal Opinion of Baidu v. Wang Jin on Trade Secret Infringement Dispute to the court. Experts agree that Baidu has never been able to prove the existence of trade secrets, let alone Wang Jin's infringement of trade secrets. At the same time, experts reminded that enterprises should be prevented from using lawsuits and procedures to hinder the labor freedom and innovation freedom of technicians.
