In February of the same year, Baidu filed a lawsuit against Wang Jin, accusing him of infringing trade secrets. This lawsuit was called "the first case of unmanned driving in China" by the media.

During this period, the top experts in the domestic intellectual property field held an expert demonstration meeting on this case, and submitted the Legal Opinion of Baidu v. Wang Jin on Trade Secret Infringement Dispute to the court. Experts agree that Baidu has never been able to prove the existence of trade secrets, let alone Wang Jin's infringement of trade secrets. At the same time, experts reminded that enterprises should be prevented from using lawsuits and procedures to hinder the labor freedom and innovation freedom of technicians.
