The forestry bureaus of each city and county should allocate part of the funds from the forestry fund for the prevention and control of forest diseases and insect pests.

People's governments at all levels will provide support for forest pest control costs for forests and trees that have no economic benefits temporarily and shelterbelts, water source forests, soil and water conservation forests, and special-purpose forests that have no economic benefits in the long term. When large-scale outbreaks or dangerous pests and diseases occur, people's governments at all levels shall provide prevention and control funding subsidies.

Article 11 Units and individuals who have any of the following circumstances will be given meritorious service or other rewards by the people's government or forestry authorities:

5. Continuously engaged in forest pest control work in grass-roots forestry units for more than 10 years , work achievements are remarkable.
