In our city, there are more than 100 excellent historical buildings announced by the real estate administration, some of which have been upgraded to cultural relics protection units, and 72 of them are still labeled as "excellent historical buildings" and are well preserved. These 72 old houses are mainly modern historical buildings with distinctive features, different styles, well-built and colorful. If they are gathered together to watch, it can be called "World Architecture Museum".

In order to better appreciate the style and characteristics of these buildings and understand their value and significance in today's urban construction and future urban development, we specially invite several famous architects and experts in literature and history to recommend the best 10 building from 72 outstanding historical buildings, interpret them one by one, and introduce other representative buildings in a classified way in an attempt to show Wuhan's outstanding historical buildings more comprehensively. This is a compromise building that combines western classicism and modernism. The shape is lively and colorful. On both sides of the porch of Loujiao shopping mall, there are five-story doors and windows with walls, a tower pavilion on the top floor, column decorations and western-style antique; However, rectangular doors and windows are very modern with little decoration. In order to highlight the entrances of restaurants and shopping malls on both sides of the building, the top five floors chose the hanging dome colonnade, which made the whole building facade decorated in an orderly way, uneven, eclectic and lively and spectacular.

This is the first church built by the Anglican Church in Wuhan. It is located at the eastern end of Tanhualin in Wuchang. Since1February 25, 870, the church has been named the Church of the Christmas.

The Church of the Christmas is a Greek temple with corridor architecture, with a building area of 533 square meters, a single-story brick-wood structure, a square layout, a flat roof, simple flowers and columns. Many essential architectural elements of the Christian church have been removed from its body, and its columns are also the product of the floral design with the Corinthian stigma removed from ancient Greece. This simple and slender column is more solemn and elegant, symbolizing the beauty of women. The Virgin Mary is caring for the son Jesus and attracting believers to worship.

The architectural design of Christmas church is a bold innovation, which shows some personalities of American designers more or less. This kind of Christian church, which imitates Greek temples, is very rare at home and abroad, and it is undoubtedly a rare cultural resource in our city.
