The way for catering operators to deal with alcohol-based fuels is to install alarm devices and ensure their normal use.

Alcohol-based fuel burners should be installed by production and operation enterprises, and post operators should check the safety of on-off valves and flow control devices every day. Organize and carry out safety training on the use of alcohol-based fuels for all employees, and organize management, professional and operating personnel to conduct safety inspection at least once a month, mainly to check the safety of fuel tanks, pipelines, breathing valves, thermostatic pads and gaskets.

The oil tank cannot be made of plastic products, but should be installed in a separate space or outdoors, and measures such as rain protection and sun protection should be taken, and the volume should not exceed 1.5 cubic meters. The volume of indoor fuel tank shall not exceed 0.8 cubic meters, the fuel tank shall be set higher than the burner 1.5 meters, and slogans such as no fireworks and no smoking shall be set around the fuel tank.

Transportation of alcohol-based fuels

Before shipment, ask the business department about the physical and chemical properties of the loaded goods and matters needing attention, such as the specific gravity, flash point, toxicity and expansion coefficient of the products. For example, epichlorohydrin transported in barrels has a large expansion coefficient and is flammable. When filling, a new barrel must be used, and the barrel should be full, leaving no space. In summer, the car should be equipped with shed poles and arbor, and it should be ventilated to avoid light, especially to prevent direct sunlight.

Barreled dangerous goods seem simple, but in fact they are very particular. The load should be even and balanced. All kinds of dangerous chemicals shall not be mixed, so as to avoid chemical reaction after leakage. There should be no gap between barrels, and the gap should be filled with waste paper board or woven bag. Choose a mild-tempered, skilled and non-smoking driver.
