2. Whampoa Military Academy, full name of China Kuomintang Army Academy. It is the most famous military academy in modern China, and has trained many famous commanders in the civil wars in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and China. During the first phase of cooperation, the original site was located in cheung chau island, Huangpu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, Chinese mainland. The military academy was founded by the Kuomintang of China in 1924, with the purpose of training officers for the national revolution, and it was the main military force of the national government to unify China in the Northern Expedition. Huangpu Military Academy was changed to Central Army Military Academy in 1927, and then to Army Military Academy in 1946. When the National Government moved to Taiwan, it moved to Fengshan, Kaohsiung, Taiwan Province Province.
