The hospital strives to build a brand image of "taking patients as the center and controlling infectious diseases as its own responsibility", pursues the concept of "honesty, tolerance, openness and enterprising", and takes "sincerely benefiting the people and sincerely benefiting the people" as its purpose, and completes the public health, infectious disease treatment and poor (low-income) people treatment in our city.

In order to further control the tuberculosis epidemic in Chengdu and reduce the economic burden of patients, the hospital undertakes projects supported by central funds and global funds; Long-term provision of free examination for suspected tuberculosis patients who have coughed and expectorated for more than 3 weeks, and active promotion of the World Health Organization (WHO) to implement full-course supervised chemotherapy (DOTS) for new infectious tuberculosis patients (whether their household registration is in Chengdu or not) in strict accordance with the national tuberculosis control plan, and provision of free anti-tuberculosis treatment.
