Tonghai Yingchunhua Street

On the 16th day of the first month, the Flower Street is a festival cultural activity carried out by the Han people in Tonghai County on the basis of traditional customs. Since the Lantern Festival in 199, it has been sponsored by the government and undertaken by the cultural system, the Association of Poetry and Calligraphy of Veteran Cadres, the Flower and Bird Association and other relevant units. Located in the county seat, it has been held for 6 sessions. The first five sessions are held once a year, and since the sixth session in 1996, they are held every two years, and each session lasts for 7 days.

The main activity of Tonghai Yingchunhua Street is the flower show, which integrates flowers and birds, calligraphy and painting, lantern festival, literary performance and arts and crafts. Traditional bonsai of peach and plum blossom piles in Tonghai, and precious handicrafts such as gladiolus, root carving, stone carving and wood carving in Tonghai were also exhibited during the Flower Street. In the 6th Yingchunhua Street, 5,535 potted plants and 2,264 colored lights were exhibited. There is a poetry desk in Huajie Street, where the audience can write poems and make couplets. Amateur literary and art lovers also sing on the flower street. During the Flower Street, the audience was like a tide, and "all the people meet are flower watchers", with more than 7, visitors. Hundreds of meters of flower streets are full of flowers, colorful, brightly lit and full of spring scenery. "Culture sets the stage, singing opera economically" and "introducing flowers from inside and connecting them with others as media" have become the purpose of Flower Street. Combining cultural activities with economic activities, the number of participating units has increased year by year, and the scale has become bigger and bigger. During the 6th Flower Street, the direct economic income was 523,6 yuan, and the commodity turnover reached 18.28 million yuan. Yingchunhua Street has become a new program combining traditional culture with modern market economy in Tonghai County.
