Programme of activities
One. Purpose of the activity
In order to better enrich students' extracurricular cultural life, improve students' expressive ability and thinking ability, promote interaction among students, cultivate team spirit and build a platform for students to show themselves.

The competition adopts single elimination system, four preliminaries, two semi-finals and 1 finals.

Third, the participating teams
1. Each class will form a team to participate in the competition.
Each team consists of a team leader, four debaters and five people. Four debaters are required to be articulate, quick-thinking and uniform in dress. It is suggested to be composed of the opposite sex.
3. Based on the principles of fairness, conciseness and effectiveness, the team will draw lots in turn to decide opponents, debates and positions.
During the competition, the team leader is responsible for all the daily work of the team.
5. Debate (positive) human beings need fairness and justice, (negative) human beings don't need fairness and justice.
Fourth, evaluate the organization.
1. Eight teachers will be invited to form a jury for each competition.
2. Eight judges scored the teams according to the group scoring items, deducting a highest score and a lowest score, and taking the average of the remaining six scores as the team's score. The winner with the highest score between the two teams can enter the next round.
3. Eight judges will score a single debater according to the scoring standard, and the debater's score will be used as the basis for selecting the excellent debater and the best debater.
4. Each competition will invite a guest to comment, and the guest will comment after the competition, but will not participate in the scoring; Invite two notaries to supervise and notarize the competition on the spot.

1, the stage of knowing yourself and yourself: the opening argument does not need to be too entangled in the theoretical level. Argumentation requires clear logic and conciseness.
2. Defensive counterattack stage:
One-on-one attacks and debates are conducted by opposing two debates, actively debating three debates and actively debating two debates and opposing three debates. Summary of the pros and cons debate.
Each speech should be concise and clear, and the cumulative time of all parties should not exceed 1 minute. Both sides must complete this round of attack and defense separately, and cannot be replaced in the middle.
In each round of attack and defense, the roles of attack and defense shall not be exchanged, the defender shall not ask questions, and the attacker shall not answer questions.
The attacker's question should be close to the debate and should not be difficult. When you reply, you should be targeted and don't answer irrelevant questions. Those who repeatedly ask and avoid questions will be deducted.
Each round of attack and defense is completed in the positive and negative positions, and the defensive player is deemed to have completed this round of attack and defense within the specified time.
After two rounds of attack and defense, the team will summarize the attack and defense by the active side first, and then by the opposing side. The summary of the offensive and defensive sides should be aimed at the situation and content involved in the offensive and defensive stage, and 2-5 points should be deducted from the back draft divorced from the actual situation of the game.
3, close combat stage:
In the free debate, the speeches must be alternated between the two teams, with the active one speaking first.
The time consumption of each team is calculated cumulatively. The speaker's seat marks the end of the speech and the beginning of the other party's speech. The other debater must speak immediately. If there is a gap, the accumulation will proceed as usual.
The order, times and time of the same debater are not limited. If one party runs out of time, the other party can continue to speak or signal to the chairman to give up speaking.
Those who advocate active confrontation and avoid confrontation for more than two times on important issues will be deducted 2-5 points, and those who have been clearly answered by the other party will be deducted 5- 10 points.
The free debate competition requires to strengthen one's point of view concisely, and to refute the other's argument tactfully and forcefully, instead of empty attacks, deliberately avoiding the other's problems, viewpoints and language confusion.
Advocate the language of debaters to be peaceful and natural, but not aggressive and aggressive, as well as the language style of recitation and performance.
Advocate a good style of debate, pay attention to popularizing knowledge, enlightening wisdom and displaying manners, avoid personal attacks, avoid political figures and events as much as possible, and avoid sensitive international issues and ethnic and religious issues as much as possible.
4. The final stage
Both sides of the debate should summarize the overall situation of the debate and pay attention to sublimating the connotation of the debate; Detached from reality, recite the manuscript prepared in advance, and deduct 2-5 points appropriately.

Scoring standards and rules

Second, the scoring rules
1, group part
★ Examination: Whether the position held can be analyzed and understood from the perspectives of logic, theory and facts, whether the arguments are sufficient, whether the reasoning is clear, and whether the difficulties of the parties are effectively handled.
★ Argumentation: whether the argument is convincing, whether the argument is sufficient, whether the reasoning process is logical, and whether it is appropriate to quote facts.
★ rebuttal: whether the question can grasp the key points of the other party and whether the question is simple and clear. If you don't ask questions or ask unclear questions within the specified time, you should deduct points appropriately. Whether to answer each other's questions directly can give people a sense of justification. If you don't answer or answer directly, you should deduct points accordingly.
★ Cooperation: whether there is team spirit, mutual support, smooth connection between arguments, patchwork of speeches in free debate, whether the answers form an organic whole, and whether there is a strong blow to the other party.
★ Language: fluent, with appropriate words, cadence, moderate speech speed, respect for other debaters and judges, decent performance, natural and graceful, and full of sense of humor.
Note: The winner is the two teams with the highest score in each game, and can enter the next round.
2. Personal part
★ Comments: The judges will give an impression score according to the performance of each debater in the normal competition: Statement or not?
Fluency, thorough reasoning, strong logic and appropriate examples.
★ Debate: Whether the question is appropriate, whether the answer is pertinent, whether the rebuttal is powerful and reasonable, whether the response is alert, and whether the language is appropriate.
★ Typhoon and debate wind.
Note: The two debaters with the highest votes in each competition are excellent debaters in this competition. The person who gets the highest number of votes in the final is the best debater in this competition. The personal achievements of debaters are only used as the basis for judging individual awards, and have nothing to do with judging the results of each game.
