Huazang Temple (Jinding), the highest temple in Emei Mountain.

Huazang Temple is the highest temple in Mount Emei, with an altitude of 3079 meters. Because of its unique geographical advantages, the temple does not need a fence, and it is located on the misty peak of the sea of clouds, which naturally forms an excellent Buddhist holy land.

On the central axis of the temple, there are ten Buddha statues, namely the Great Hall (bronze hall), Jinding (golden hall), Wo Yun Temple on the left (silver hall) and Kannonji on the right, which are usually called Jinding.

Huazang Temple, formerly known as Puguang Temple, was founded in the Eastern Han Dynasty and later renamed Yuanxiang Temple. In the 29th year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty, Master Miao Feng made a great wish and raised thousands of gold. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, Mao Yi built a bronze temple and placed it on the Jinding. The royal flag of Zhu Yijun in Ming Shenzong is called "Yongming Huazang Temple", hence the name Huazang Temple.

Climbing the stairs, I first saw the archway of the temple, with four pillars and three doors, cornices and upturned corners, and a golden faucet at each ridge end, looking up at the sky, magnificent and solemn. There is a plaque hanging on the middle lintel, which reads "Sino-Tibetan World" in four golden characters.

Go through the archway and walk to the end of the steps, and you will see a pavilion with a silver tile and a gold wall, which has an extraordinary style and is the fragrance of Huazang Temple.

Turn left, and you will see a huge incense burner with cigarettes wrapped around it, and the candle lights on the next light frame are flashing. The copper pavilions with double eaves on the left and right sides are the bell tower and the drum tower.

At this time, the eyes suddenly opened up, and a pilgrimage step with a length of 108 m and a width of 18 m appeared. Ten pairs of six-toothed white elephants as white as jade stand on the left and right. On the left, the elephant carries all the best things. On the right, the elephant carries a Falun, which becomes very long. Directly opposite is a huge Buddha statue, glittering with Buddha's light. What a sacred Buddhist shrine.

In such a Buddhist holy land, the impetuous earthly heart also calmed down, walked down the steps, and came to the giant golden Buddha statue (surrounded by ten bodhisattvas) to wash his mind and pay tribute.

This used to be the front of Huazang Temple. Huazang Temple has experienced several fires in history, and there are few ancient buildings left, in order to restore the former elegance of Huazang Temple. Planning and cleaning began in 2002, and on June 6, 2006 18, a Puxian icon with four sides and ten sides was completed.

The icon of the ten-faced bodhisattva is copper-plated with gold, 48 meters high, with an area of 1.256 square meters and a weight of about 600 tons. There is a white elephant in Mount Sumi, with six teeth on all sides. The elephant has a lotus throne on its back. On the throne is the bodhisattva method. The first layer is the two faces and four heads of Samantabhadra. The second layer is the four heads of Samantabhadra; The highest level is the head of the Buddha before and after. Ten incarnations represent "Pu Xian's Ten Wishes", and Pu Xian's wishes are powerful, which shows that before the Tathagata, Pu Xian was the king of wishes.

On the front of the icon, the Bodhisattva sits on the lotus throne, holding wishful thinking and looking at all sentient beings with a peaceful and harmonious expression.

On the back of the icon, the Bodhisattva sits on the lotus throne, holding the handprint of Amitabha's mantra, which looks kind and peaceful.

Inside the bronze statue of Pu Xian, there is a 484 square meter Buddhist temple. The whole temple is magnificent and natural. In the center of eight huge copper pillars, there is a bronze statue of Amitabha. Amitabha holds the lotus platform in his left hand, and his right hand stretches forward and downward to attract all beings. Amitabha Buddha is enshrined in the icon of Ten Bodhisattvas, symbolizing the ultimate paradise. There is no amitabha in the south!

Behind the golden statue of Samantabhadra is Mahayana Mahayana Hall, which is a bronze hall. Double eaves rest on the top of the mountain, and auspicious animals are carved at each ridge end, and the four corners of each roof are very high. There are corridors around the temple. The pillars of the corridor are all copper, and the railings outside the pillars are white marble. Under the first double eaves, the gold plaque of "Hall of Great Heroes" is hung, and under the second double eaves, the gold plaque of "Huazang Temple" is hung. The whole temple is magnificent and beautiful, as if it were an empty palace.

In the center of the temple is a huge Buddhist niche. In the center of the niche, the Buddha Sakyamuni, with a bronze golden body, sits on the lotus throne with a Zen seal on his hand. On the left is the golden statue of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, dressed in precious clothes and holding Ruyi. On the right is Manjusri Bodhisattva, wearing a crown, with a delicate and peaceful face. After seeing the Buddha statue, he really wanted to worship it.

There is a hall behind the niche, where there are countless exquisite Buddha statues, as well as bronze pots, bronze clocks and other utensils. It's like a treasure house.

After visiting the Ursa Major Hall, I climbed the stairs to Jinding. This temple is not only the tallest building in Huazang Temple, but also the most dazzling one. The upper part of the bronze hall is a double eave at the top of the mountain, surrounded by embroidered windows, all of which are carved with exquisite patterns. Pure copper is gilded, magnificent and luxurious, so it is called "Golden Hall". Now Jinding was built on 1990.

On the doorpost of the Golden Temple, there is a pair of carved couplets, saying, "The Tathagata is boundless, and Pu Xian is like a void.". There is a golden statue of Samantabhadra in the center of the temple, sitting on the lotus throne, holding Ruyi, and the statue is solemn and peaceful. Under the lotus throne is a golden elephant with six teeth. There are no great bodhisattvas in the south!

In addition to the buildings on the central axis, there is also the "Silver Hall" on the left side of Huazang Temple, which was built in the Qing Dynasty. It is the only remaining ancient building on the Jinding. The temple is covered with tin and white, just like a pavilion lying in a sea of clouds, hence the name "Sleeping Cloud Temple".

Maitreya Buddha statue is enshrined in the First Temple. Through the temple, I came to the Jade Buddha Hall, where a jade Buddha is enshrined, crystal clear, moist and delicate. The Buddha statue is kind and peaceful, smiling and very kind.

On the right side of the central axis is Kannonji, which was opened on 202 1 654381October 24th. The whole layout is a quadrilateral structure. When you enter the door, the first thing you see is a white shadow wall with golden scriptures engraved on it. After crossing the screen, I arrived in guanyin temple, and the double eaves were wrapped in silver, which was extremely holy.

A statue of Jade Guanyin is enshrined in the center of the temple, sitting on the throne, wearing a Zen seal on his hand and a crown on his head. His face is kind, his method is solemn and friendly, and he is willing to give it to the good men and women who come to worship. South without mercy Guanyin Bodhisattva Mahasa!

After visiting the Buddhist temples in Huazang Temple, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery from the observation deck. Jinding has four wonders: sunrise, sea of clouds, Buddha's light and holy lamp. The latter two are coincidences and it is difficult to meet. But the sea of clouds and the sunrise are relatively easy to see. Between the pines and cypresses, white clouds billow like fairyland, which is spectacular and amazing to people. Face the unimaginable truth, forget the secular, and blend into the incomparable Buddhist holy land. Dust to dust, soil to soil, cleaning up our mortal world.

If the bronze statue of Pu Xian in Wannian Temple is the treasure of the town hall for thousands of years, then the ten Pu Xian icons of Jinding (Huazang Temple) are the aura of Emei Mountain, which makes people really feel that the Buddha is in the scenery and the scenery is beside the Buddha. This kind of scene should only exist in the sky and is rarely heard in the world.

Huazang Temple is not only the highest temple in Emei Mountain, but also a Buddhist shrine, which is worth visiting.
