2. Illegally manufacturing, trading, transporting, mailing, storing, holding or hiding more than one military gun, or more than one non-military gun that fires bullets with gunpowder, or more than two other non-military guns that are powered by compressed gas; Smuggling more than two guns fired by illegal gunpowder such as compressed gas or more than one gun fired by gunpowder constitutes a crime, and criminal responsibility shall be investigated according to law.

According to Article 43 of the Gun Control Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), those who rent or lend guns for official use in violation of the regulations on gun control shall be punished by applying mutatis mutandis the provisions of Article 187 of the Criminal Law. If a unit commits the acts mentioned in the preceding paragraph, the directly responsible person in charge and other directly responsible personnel shall be punished in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph.

If a civil gun allocation unit rents or lends guns in violation of the laws and regulations on gun control, resulting in serious consequences or other serious circumstances, the directly responsible person in charge and other directly responsible personnel shall be punished by applying mutatis mutandis the provisions of Article 187 of the Criminal Law.

Individuals equipped with civilian guns who rent or lend guns in violation of the regulations on gun control, resulting in serious consequences, shall be punished by applying mutatis mutandis the provisions of Article 163 of the Criminal Law.

Those who rent or lend guns in violation of the laws and regulations on gun control, if the circumstances are minor and do not constitute a crime, shall be detained by the public security organ for less than 15 days by the person in charge of the individual or unit and other directly responsible personnel, and may also be fined less than 5,000 yuan; Firearms rented or lent should be confiscated.
