2. Name of the mascot of Hangzhou Asian Games

The mascots of Hangzhou Asian Games are Cong Cong, Lian Lian and Chen Chen respectively, and the name of this group of mascots is Jiang Nanyi from Bai Juyi's Jiang Nanyi, among which Hangzhou is the most memorable.

"Congcong" represents the world heritage Liangzhu ancient city in the shape of a robot, and its name comes from Yu Cong, a representative cultural relic unearthed from the site of Liangzhu ancient city. "Lotus" represents the World Heritage West Lake in the shape of a robot, and its name comes from the infinite blue lotus leaf in the West Lake.

"Chen Chen" represents the World Heritage Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal in the shape of a robot, and its name comes from the landmark Chen Gong Bridge in Hangzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.

Where will the 2023 Asian Games be held in Hangzhou?

Except Jiande, there are 12 districts and counties in Hangzhou, specifically Shangcheng District, Gongshu District, Xihu District, Binjiang District, Xiaoshan District, Yuhang District, Linping District, Qiantang District, Fuyang District, Lin 'an District, Tonglu County and Chun 'an County.

In addition to Hangzhou, Asian Games venues are also distributed in five surrounding cities, namely: Ningbo, Wenzhou, Huzhou, Shaoxing and Jinhua.

4. Volunteer organization of Hangzhou Asian Games

Volunteer service should follow the principles of voluntariness, free of charge, equality, honesty and legality, and volunteers will not receive any subsidies during the Games. However, the Organizing Committee of Hangzhou Asian Games will provide volunteers with ID cards, uniforms, catering, insurance and local transportation during the service period.

The personal transportation and accommodation expenses of volunteers serving cross-border, inter-provincial and inter-city services in Hangzhou Asian Games and Asian Paralympic Games shall be borne by the volunteers themselves (except those organized by the Organizing Committee).
