North University for Nationalities is the only affiliated university in China established in the minority autonomous region. Its predecessor was Northwest Second University for Nationalities, which was founded in 1984. In 2004, the State Ethnic Affairs Commission and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region signed a * * * construction agreement. In 2007, he was awarded the excellent evaluation of undergraduate teaching level by the Ministry of Education. In May 2008, it was officially renamed North University for Nationalities. The school is actively building a high-level modern university for nationalities with characteristics in accordance with the objectives set by the first Party Congress.
