The difference is that we are Chinese and we speak Chinese. They are people from other countries, and they also have their own language and culture. The foreigners we usually see are those we see on TV. I must say this. First of all, they are all camera-ready people, just like us Chinese people who can be on-camera. How many of them are implicit? Also, the shots that are shown on TV are due to the needs of the TV station. The foreigners we know in mainland China are just the tip of the iceberg among foreigners. They can only represent special groups who are able to go abroad. For example, foreigners are very discriminatory against Chinese people and think that Chinese people are very unhygienic. There are slogans written in Chinese in restrooms and tourist attractions. Those are just some of the Chinese people who went abroad and made some consequences that harmed the image of the Chinese people. Can those people represent the entire Chinese people and mean that you don’t care about hygiene?
