Carrera GT is equipped with a true automatic tail. When the speed exceeds 70 miles per hour, the tail will automatically rise to provide downforce.

Carrera's history began at 1956 and was founded by Austrian sports glasses manufacturer William Manger. Its brand name is taken from Carrera Pan-American Highway Rally, a famous racing competition.
