Does the state have regulations that allow poultry to be raised in residential buildings?

There are regulations that do not allow poultry to be kept in captivity in residential areas. Of course, it should be okay to keep one or two in captivity as long as it doesn't affect other people's normal work, rest, and health.

For details, please refer to the "Regulations on the Prevention and Control of Pollution from Large-scale Livestock and Poultry Breeding" implemented on January 1, 2014

Article 11 prohibits the construction of livestock and poultry farms and breeding communities in the following areas :

(1) Drinking water source protection areas and scenic spots;

(2) Core areas and buffer zones of nature reserves;

(3) Urban residential areas, cultural, educational and scientific research areas and other population-concentrated areas;

(4) Other prohibited breeding areas stipulated by laws and regulations.

Article 37 Anyone who violates the provisions of these regulations and builds livestock and poultry farms or breeding communities in prohibited breeding areas shall be ordered by the environmental protection department of the local people's government at or above the county level to stop illegal activities; Anyone who stops illegal activities shall be fined not less than 30,000 yuan but not more than 100,000 yuan, and reported to the people's government at or above the county level for ordering demolition or closure.
