The Spring Festival originated from the activities of offering sacrifices to gods and ancestors in the beginning and end of the Shang Dynasty. It is the biggest, most lively and most important ancient traditional festival in China.

In China, the Spring Festival refers to the period from the eighth day of the twelfth lunar month to the fifteenth day of the first month in La Worship. But for young children, good-looking, delicious and fun are the most interesting and impressive things for children. Therefore, the three sub-themes of "Happy New Year" are: Happy China Year, Happy Temple Fair and Happy Lantern Festival.

During the activities, children can perceive and understand the meaning and connotation of folk activities in the Spring Festival by watching and participating in the New Year's party, lion dance, dragon dance and visiting temple fairs, and arouse their pride in the traditional festival culture in China.

On this basis, children are encouraged to use their previous perceptual experience to independently design, prepare and plan special activities such as New Year's party, "temple fair" and folk performances.

In a series of purposeful and step-by-step real experience activities, such as venue layout, works creation, commodity preparation, activity organization, business contacts, performances and exhibitions, children constantly feel the intense and wonderful year, and comprehensively improve their creative production, consultation and cooperation, sharing and communication, and using existing experience to solve problems.

2. Use painting, handcraft, paper cutting, clay sculpture and other forms to make articles for activities such as visiting temples and folk performances, and experience the fun of making and creating by yourself.

3. Actively cooperate with peers to design, plan and prepare for activities such as the Spring Festival Evening Temple Fair, and experience the excitement and blessings of the New Year in the self-built New Year's party.
