Dadukou district strengthens "five grasping hands" to promote mental health education in primary and secondary schools.

The first is to grasp the platform construction. The Sunshine Ventricular, the guidance center of mental health education in the whole region, was established to provide professional services for mental health education in primary and secondary schools in the whole region. The guidance center is under the responsibility of the moral education room of the district further education school, and currently has 32 members (including 8 psychology teachers). At present, 28 primary and secondary schools in the whole region have set up mental health consultation rooms. The second is to grasp the curriculum construction. Schools independently develop a series of school-based courses on mental health education, such as the "Fruit Fruit" course in dadukou district Experimental Primary School and the "Sanqi" psychological course in No.37 Middle School. Each primary and secondary school shall carry out mental health education classes or group make-up classes at least twice each semester, carry out large-scale lectures or activities on mental health education at least 1 time, and publish mental health blackboard newspapers at least twice.

The third is to train teachers. Organize mental health education teachers and class teachers to participate in the professional training of mental health education at or above the municipal level at least 1 time every year, and regularly carry out normalized teaching and research training activities at least 1 time every month, so as to continuously improve teachers' professional quality and practical ability and promote the full participation of mental health education in primary and secondary schools.

The fourth is to grasp the construction of demonstration schools. Vigorously promote the construction of characteristic schools for mental health education in primary and secondary schools across the country, give play to the demonstration and leading role of characteristic schools, and promote the level of mental health education in primary and secondary schools in the whole region. At present, No.37 Middle School has been rated as "National Characteristic School of Mental Health Education in Primary and Secondary Schools" by the Ministry of Education, and Eggplant Creek Middle School and dadukou district Experimental Primary School participated in the evaluation of "Chongqing Characteristic School of Mental Health Education in Primary and Secondary Schools".

The fifth is to pay attention to home-school co-education. Strengthen the cooperation between schools, families and society through the Family Committee and the "100 million" project, strive for the cooperation between society and families, help parents understand and master the characteristics and laws of children's physical and mental development, and help parents or guardians solve psychological and behavioral problems in the process of children's growth.
