How to create a good image of the army

The image of the army is the sum of various external manifestations of the army, the embodiment of the internal nature, purpose, mission, ability and style of the army, and the overall impression, evaluation and attitude tendency formed on the basis of people's direct or indirect perception of the army and its behavior. Therefore, image display has become a very important issue for the armies of all countries in the world today. The image of the army is undoubtedly an important part of the "soft power" of the army. Improving the image of the army and building its soft power have become the direction that the armies of all countries pay attention to and focus on. There are not only enthusiastic trust and expectation from the people and friends, but also "stick killing" and "support killing" from hostile forces with ulterior motives. This should also be the proper meaning of the scientific development of army building.

The image orientation of our army in the new period must be related to its historical image. The historical image of our army is a valuable asset. No matter how the times develop and the situation and tasks change, the fundamental nature and purpose of our army have never changed, the fundamental concept of building the army has never changed, and the fundamental image of the people's army should not and cannot be changed.
