Chinese prose has a long history. Thousands of years of prose creation, whether lyrical, expressing aspirations, describing scenes, or reflecting on people... all reflect the changes of the times and people's thoughts and emotions. These fine traditions of Chinese prose have not only been fully inherited in the new literature since the twentieth century, but have also continued to innovate and develop.
