The line from the electric meter socket to the home is the customer's own property right, which is managed and maintained by the customer. If something goes wrong, he will fix it himself or pay someone to fix it.

State regulations on the installation location of electric meters:

1, installed on the switch cabinet: the height should be 1.4~ 1.7 meters, and it is not allowed to be less than 0.4 meters.

2. The temperature of the installation site should be between 0℃ and 40℃. The distance from the heating system should not be less than 0.5m, and generally it should not be installed outdoors.

3. The installation shall be vertical, and the inclination shall not be greater than 10.

When several watches are assembled together, the distance between them should not be less than 60mm.

5. If the instrument is installed by current transformer, the secondary circuit should be separated from the relay protection circuit. Secondary current should use insulated copper wire, the cross section is not less than 2.5mm2.

6. Requirements for secondary circuit of measurement: Copper wires must be used for secondary circuits of current and voltage transformers for measurement. The cross section of the voltage secondary circuit conductor should not be less than1.5mm2; The conductor section of the current secondary circuit shall not be less than 2.5mm2 When measuring the voltage transformer, the specified voltage drop of the secondary circuit shall not exceed 0.5% of the secondary rated voltage; For a class of users, the voltage drop is required not to exceed 0.25% of the rated voltage.

7. Electric energy meters are not allowed to be installed in the following occasions: inflammable and explosive dangerous places; Dangerous places with corrosive gas or high temperature; Where there are magnetic fields and dust.
