A large number of people with lofty ideals and ideals of "aviation to save the country and aviation to serve the country" gathered in Baiyanzhuang, west Beijing, and completed the initiative of cultivating red aviation engineers for New China.

As the first aerospace institution of higher learning in New China, Beihang University was born when the nation was awakening, was born when the country was struggling, and grew up during the national rejuvenation. From saving the country through aviation to serving the country through aviation and aerospace, and then to serving the country in building a powerful aviation and aerospace country, the school has always inherited the red gene and regarded serving the country as its highest pursuit. It is committed to cultivating first-class talents and building important weapons for the country, and always strives to become a higher education institution in China. Education is at the forefront of the first phalanx.

89 academicians of the two academies and more than 250,000 outstanding builders came out from here, practicing the school motto of "having both ability and political integrity, integrating knowledge and action", and promoting "hard work and simplicity, diligence and studiousness, all-round development, and courage".
