Liu Han's life story

19 14 Graduated from Radio Department of Communication College (now Beijing Jiaotong University). At school, he studied and compiled a set of Chinese phonetic alphabet code books. After graduation, I worked as a radio operator in the Ministry of Communications. 19 19 teaches at the army wireless communication coach college. 1September, 922, Liu Han, Wu Tiqing, Geng Jihe and others were sent to Harbin by the military arrangement office of the three northeastern provinces to receive the radio stations transported back to China by the Soviet Union.

1923, referring to Bell's telephone principle and many foreign materials, Liu Han groped for the transformation of Marconi duplexer (telegraph and field telephone) and assembled it into a broadcast transmitter, which was tested in Manzhouli and Nangang Moscow shopping malls (now museums) and temporarily broadcast in Chinese and Russian. Although the transmitting power is only 50 watts, it is the beginning of China wireless broadcasting.

1926 In March, Liu Han wrote to the government to formally establish a radio station in China. After half a year's repeated development, he successfully modified a 100 watt broadcast transmitter.

1In August, 926, Liu Han conducted a four-day exhibition experiment with his own broadcast transmitter. The launch pad is located in the bungalow of Wang Zhao Tun Railway (nowNo. Wenzhi Street 165, Electric Power District). One room houses transmitters and control machines, and the other room generates electricity. Internal combustion engine and generator are installed on saddle-shaped iron frame, and the middle is driven by steel shaft. Set up a tall wooden pole antenna outside the house. The radio exhibition is located in the house between Nangang Museum and Puyu Primary School. There is a big radio in the room. Visiting and listening to the exhibition are Harbin military and political dignitaries and representatives from all walks of life, as well as representatives of expatriates from all over the world. When the radio sounded clear and loud on time, the crowd immediately burst into warm applause. The success of the broadcast experiment was rewarded and supported by Zhu Qinglan, commander-in-chief of the Railway Protection Army. After preparation, a temporary broadcast was started in Nangang Jiaolou (at that time on the side of Manzhouli Street in Moscow shopping mall). Call sign XOH, power 50W, frequency 600K, wavelength 500 m, broadcast in Chinese and Russian.

After the successful broadcasting experiment, with the promotion of people from all walks of life, Harbin Radio Station was announced to be established and officially started broadcasting on June 1926+00+00. This is the first officially established radio station in China. In March and May of the following year, Shanghai Xinxin Radio Station and Tianjin Radio Station were established one after another.

Because Liu Han resolutely opposed Japanese businessmen to collect economic information by telecommunications and did not allow Japanese to use automatic telephones to transmit economic information, the Japanese held a grudge against Liu Han, waited for revenge, and secretly played tricks, forcing Liu Han to leave the radio station on June 1930 and work for the Middle East Railway Bureau. Japanese imperialism immediately arrested Liu Han after 1932 occupied Harbin. But Liu Han had left Harbin and returned to Beiping before the fall. After 1937, the Japanese army pursued Liu Han many times in Peiping. Since Liu Han had been transferred to Suiyuan telegraph office and later worked in Xi 'an, the Japanese plot never succeeded.
