What should we pay attention to when preventing static electricity in factories?

1. Basic principles of electrostatic protection

a. Suppress the accumulation of electrostatic charge;

b. Quickly, safely and effectively eliminate the electrostatic charge that has been generated. .

2. Anti-static work area

1. Floor materials

a. It is prohibited to directly use wooden floors or lay wool, linen, chemical fiber carpets and ordinary floors leather.

b. A floor made of static conductor materials should be used, such as an anti-static raised floor or an anti-static floor mat laid on ordinary ground, and it should be effectively grounded.

c. It is allowed to use specially treated terrazzo floors, such as laying a ground wire network in advance, carburizing or spraying antistatic agent on the ground, etc.

2. Grounding

a. The anti-static system must have an independent and reliable grounding device. The grounding resistance should generally be less than 10Ω. The burial and detection methods should comply with the requirements of GBJ 97.

b. The anti-static ground wire must not be connected to the neutral line of the power supply, and must not be used with the lightning protection ground wire.

c. Use a three-phase five-wire system for power supply, and its ground wire can be used as an anti-static ground wire (but the neutral wire and the ground wire must not be mixed).

d. The cross-sectional area of ??the grounding main line should not be less than 100mm2; the cross-sectional area of ??the branch line should not be less than 6mm2; the grounding wires of equipment and workbench should use multi-strand plastic-coated wires with a cross-sectional area not less than 1.25mm2. The color of the grounding wire is preferably yellow-green.

e. The connection method of the grounding main line should be brazing.

f. The connection terminals of anti-static equipment should ensure reliable contact and be easy to assemble and disassemble. Various clip-type connectors are allowed, such as fish clips, plug holders, etc.

3. Ceiling materials

Ceiling materials should be made of antistatic materials. Generally, gypsum board products are allowed, and ordinary plastic products are prohibited.

4. Wall fabrics

Antistatic wallpaper should be used as wall fabrics. Generally, gypsum paint or lime paint is allowed on the wall. Ordinary wallpaper and plastic wallpaper are prohibited.

5. Humidity control

a. The relative humidity of the environment in the anti-static work area should not be less than 50.

b. On the premise of not causing harmful effects to the product, it is allowed to use humidification equipment to spray preparations or water to increase the environmental humidity.

c. The humidity of the computer room should comply with the relevant regulations in GB 2887, and similar computer rooms should also comply with this regulation.

6. Area boundaries

The area boundaries of the anti-static work area should be marked, and warning signs should be hung in obvious places. The warning signs should comply with the regulations of GJB1649, and ionizers should be installed at the entrance of the work area. Air bath equipment.

7. Charge sources

It is prohibited to use or come into contact with charge sources that easily generate electrostatic charges (as shown below) in the anti-static work area.

Charge source:

Workbench surface, painted or dipped paint surface, ordinary plastic veneer, ordinary vinyl and resin surface flooring

Plastic and ordinary floor leather , polished waxed wooden floors. Ordinary vinyl work clothes, hats, shoes

Ordinary polyester, synthetic fiber and nylon fabrics, plastic and ordinary rubber-soled shoes operating tools and equipment

Ordinary plastic boxes, racks, bottles, trays Supplies and paper products, ordinary foam and general mobile tools, compressors, injection equipment, evaporation equipment, etc.

3. Anti-static facilities for electronic products - using a series of anti-static products

1 , Anti-static workbench

a. Anti-static workbench is the basic component of the anti-static work area. It consists of a workbench, anti-static table mat, wrist strap connector and ground wire.

b. There should be no less than two wrist strap connectors on the anti-static table mat, one for operators and the other for technicians, inspectors or other personnel.

c. If necessary, an ionizing wind static eliminator should be equipped on the anti-static workbench.

d. Plastic boxes (sheets), rubber, cardboard, glass and other debris that easily generate static electricity are not allowed to be stacked on the static electricity safety workbench. Drawings and materials should be placed in anti-static document bags.

2. Anti-static wrist strap

People who are in direct contact with electrostatic-sensitive devices should wear an anti-static wrist strap. The wrist strap should have good contact with human skin and the wrist strap must be in good contact with the human body. There is no irritation or allergic effect. The resistance value of the wristband system to ground should be in the range of 106~108Ω.

3. Anti-static containers

In the development and production process of electronic equipment, all storage (anti-static shelves, anti-static lockers) and turnover SSD containers (anti-static carts , component bags, transfer boxes, printed board racks, component storage boxes, etc.) should have electrostatic protection properties. Metal and regular plastic containers are not allowed. When necessary, the turnover box used to store parts should be grounded.

4. Electrostatic discharge meter

When entering the anti-static working area, the charge carried on the human body is eliminated.

5. Anti-static work clothes

a. Personnel entering the anti-static work area or coming into contact with SSDs should wear anti-static work clothes. The fabric of the anti-static work clothes should comply with the regulations of GB 12014.

b. In an environment where the relative humidity is greater than 50, pure cotton products are allowed to be used for anti-static work clothes.

6. Anti-static work shoes

Personnel who enter the anti-static work area or come into contact with SSD should wear anti-static work shoes. Anti-static work shoes should comply with the relevant regulations of GB 4385. Normal shoes are generally allowed, but conductive shoe harnesses or heel straps should be used in conjunction.

7. Anti-static transport vehicle

When transporting SSDs or entire components containing SSDs, transport vehicles with anti-static properties should be used.
