What are the classifications of martial arts in China?
According to its forms of movement, China Wushu can be divided into three categories: kungfu, routine and fighting.
(1) Wushu kungfu
kungfu is a special exercise organized around improving the physical fitness or exercising a special skill in order to master and improve Wushu routines and fighting techniques and induce the human potential required by Wushu. The purpose is to acquire martial arts sports ability and martial arts specialized skills through martial arts practice.
(2) Wushu routine
Wushu routine is a complete set of action exercises based on attack and defense movements, following the changing rules of attack and defense, dynamic and static, rigid and soft, and virtual and real. Routine exercise can be divided into four categories according to the form of exercise: boxing routine, instrument routine, duet routine and collective exercise routine. ?
1. Boxing routines
Boxing routines are routines practiced by hands. The main types of boxing are Changquan, Tai Ji Chuan, Nanquan, Xingyi, Bagua, Octupole, Tongbei, Split Hang, Fanzi, Ditan and Pictorial Boxing.

Most martial arts equipment evolved from ancient weapons. There are many kinds of martial arts instruments, which can be divided into short instruments, long instruments, double instruments and soft instruments. The styles and characteristics of the drills are different.
3. sparring routine
sparring is an offensive and defensive fighting routine conducted by two or more people according to a predetermined procedure. Including boxing (unarmed) sparring, equipment sparring and unarmed sparring with equipment.
1) Boxing sparring routine
Bare-handed sparring routine is a boxing sparring routine compiled according to the movement rules of attack, defense and counterattack by kicking, hitting, throwing and taking. There are duet boxing, duet capture, duet of Nanquan, duet of Xingyiquan and so on.
2) Equipment sparring routine
Equipment sparring routine is a sparring routine composed of the techniques of chopping, chopping, hitting and stabbing. There are mainly short equipment training, long equipment training, long and short training, single and double training, single and soft training, double and soft training and other forms. Common ones are single-knife, three-cudgel, double-dagger, and stabbing sword.

(3) Fighting sport
Fighting sport is a form of confrontation practice in which two people compare wits under certain conditions and according to certain rules. There are three main events in Wushu fighting: Sanda, Pushing Hands and Short Soldiers.
