Is the food for the officers and men of China Navy good?

Logistics support is particularly important for any army. Napoleon famously said, "The army marches on its belly". A reasonable, healthy, safe and delicious diet is the basis of maintaining the combat effectiveness of the army. "Good food equals half an instructor" is by no means an exaggeration.

As far as China Navy is concerned, with the more and more visits of China Navy and going deep blue, after years of exploration, the marine food of China Navy has been greatly enriched and developed in variety, taste and storage time, reaching hundreds of varieties, including staple food, vegetarian food, dry food, fruit and non-staple food. The navy's ocean missions usually last for several months and the voyage is tens of thousands of nautical miles. How to ensure the supply of the fleet is particularly important, because the supply of the ocean fleet is the foundation of blue-water navy.

Since its founding, the People's Liberation Army has strictly stipulated "the unity of officers and men". Specifically, in terms of meals, officers and soldiers are not separated like ordinary foreign troops, but meals are divided into four categories according to different work areas, nature and positions:

A kind of stove: soldiers, officers who eat with soldiers, national defense construction teams and border guards and troops stationed on the island with difficult living conditions;

Second-class stoves: tank and self-propelled artillery repair unit, tank and self-propelled artillery unit, aviation maintenance brigade, plateau area department;

Three types of stoves: surface warship personnel and flight school students;

Four types of stoves: conventional submarine personnel, aviation aircrew and nuclear submarine personnel.

The standard of secondary stoves is higher than that of primary stoves, and so on. Naturally, the food standards of these four types of stoves are the highest, and naval surface ship personnel can "enjoy" third-class stoves. This standard is still very high, but it is not easy for naval officers and men to eat well.
