The Planting Management Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the National Agricultural Technology Extension Service Center held a training meeting on centralized rice seedling raising technology in Yueqing City, Zhejiang Province, observed the site of centralized rice seedling raising and transplanting, carried out technical training on centralized rice seedling raising and productivity improvement, exchanged the implementation of centralized rice seedling raising in various places, and deployed key tasks in rice production.

The meeting pointed out that centralized rice seedling raising is an important measure to stabilize the area of double-cropping rice, an important way to improve the yield level of rice, and an important exploration to build a reasonable rotation. All localities should build facilities, models, mechanisms and files to ensure that a batch of rice is built and used, and constantly improve the stable and safe supply capacity of rice in China. In terms of construction, according to the principle of "centralized development according to local conditions", one county and one plan will promote the construction of centralized seedling raising centers, build centralized seedling raising and sowing workshops and seedling raising greenhouses, purchase seedling raising facilities and equipment, and form seedling supply capacity as soon as possible.

Establish a model, build a technical model with rice production mechanization as the core, and build a business model with the goal of "multi-purpose in one shed, agricultural shed for agriculture". Establish a mechanism, establish an operating mechanism focusing on socialized services, an extension service mechanism focusing on experts, and a management mechanism aiming at efficient and safe use of funds. File, do a good job in centralized seedling file management, ensure that there are plans and summaries, and the whole process can be traced back.

The meeting demanded that all parts of the south should base themselves on resource endowments, strengthen scientific and technological support, develop ratooning rice in the south according to local conditions, and fully tap the rice production potential in the south. According to the "National Implementation Plan for Large-scale Yield Increase of Major Crops such as Grain and Oil", the path of rice yield increase is defined, and key measures such as technology integration, demonstration drive, business service, disaster prevention and mitigation, and grain saving and loss reduction are strengthened to improve the rice yield per unit area.

More than 90 representatives from southern 16 provinces and agricultural and rural departments (committees) of early rice (rice) producing counties participated in the training. Academician Zhang of China Academy of Engineering and Researcher Zhu of China Rice Research Institute gave lectures on rice productivity improvement and centralized seedling raising technology respectively.
