How soon can Fuqing be rated as a civilized city?

Legal analysis: Fuqing civilized city will be evaluated for about two months. Document No.20039 of the Central Civilization Committee stipulates that the national civilized cities will be selected and commended once every three years, from the beginning of July to the end of September.

Legal basis: Interim Measures of the Central Steering Committee for Spiritual Civilization Construction on the Selection and Commendation of Civilized Cities, Civilized Villages and Towns and Civilized Units in China.

Article 1 The establishment of civilized cities, civilized villages and towns and civilized units is a great creation of the people to change customs, transform society and build a better life. It is an important carrier for the people to actively participate in the practice of spiritual civilization construction, carry out self-education and self-improvement, an effective way to organically combine the tasks of material civilization, political civilization and spiritual civilization construction at the grassroots level, an innovative way of the party's mass work and ideological and political work in the new period, a solid promotion of spiritual civilization construction, and a great improvement of urban and rural civilization and citizens' level. In order to standardize the selection and commendation of civilized cities, civilized villages and towns and civilized units throughout the country, improve the quality of selection and commendation, and promote the healthy development of creation activities, these measures are formulated.

Article 2 "National Civilized City", "National Civilized Village and Town" and "National Civilized Unit" are the honorary titles of cities, villages and towns awarded by the Central Steering Committee for Spiritual Civilization Construction to actively carry out the activities of establishing civilized cities, civilized villages and towns and civilized units, realize the coordinated development of material civilization, political civilization and spiritual civilization construction, make outstanding achievements in spiritual civilization construction, and play an exemplary role in the whole country.
