At present, the effect of matrix typesetting is often needed in the printing process, and there is a professional tool for generating matrix in the label printing software, which can achieve this effect very simply. So how to calculate the specific horizontal and vertical spacing is more convenient? Let's take a closer look at it.

Take the two-dimensional code in the picture as an example. When generating a matrix, you need to typeset 24 pieces on a piece of paper. After adding content to the first template, you can select the first one to open the matrix generation tool, and you can generate the typesetting effect of the whole page at one time. The specific calculation method of the row-column spacing is as follows:

First, when calculating the horizontal spacing, you can copy the first content to the appropriate position in the horizontal direction, and then select two objects. Check the relevant parameters displayed at the bottom of the software interface: the width displayed at the bottom is 62.6 mm, and the secondary width is the total width of the two selected QR codes and the middle spacing:

So, if you need to calculate the spacing between two QR codes, you only need to know the width of the QR codes:

With the above data, you can calculate the horizontal spacing between two QR codes. Subtract the width of two QR codes from the first parameter to get the middle horizontal spacing:

62.6-17.6*2=28

Second, the vertical spacing calculation method is similar to the horizontal spacing. We can first copy and paste the QR code to the second QR code position in the vertical direction, and then select two objects to see that their total height is 62.8

The QR code is square, so its height and width are consistent. Then the following methods can be used to calculate the middle vertical spacing:

62.8-17.6*2=27.6

Third, use matrix generation to realize one-time typesetting. Select the first QR code, then click the tool to generate matrix in the upper right corner of the software, enter the number of rows and columns, horizontal and vertical spacing, starting point and direction, and then click OK to see the following effects:
