? I often tell my students that there are languages everywhere in life! A good Chinese student is not called good Chinese by several excellent papers, but only good Chinese. Reading is essential if you want to hone your deep Chinese foundation. You can do one or two less papers and wander in class, but you can't help reading. Reading is like a book, writing is like a god! The students' interest in "literary tribe" activities was beyond my expectation.
