Disadvantages are: too many people, difficult equipment management, unable to achieve unified management of the whole plant. According to this situation, most mainstream coking enterprises have built or completed centralized control centers. Advanced automation technology has been adopted to realize the integration of the control room in the whole plant, and good economic and social benefits have been achieved. After the integration of all control rooms, the production efficiency is greatly improved, the staffing is saved, the number of operators can be reduced by 50%, and the level of equipment automation control has also been greatly improved.

2.3 production technology

In recent years, the technology of coking industry has also been greatly improved, but the effective application of automation technology in new technology can achieve good energy-saving effect and economic benefits. 2.3. 1 combustion equipment for desulfurization and denitrification process and VOC process.

With the more and more strict requirements of coking environmental protection, new technologies have blossomed everywhere in coking plants in recent years. It is best to link the control system of all new transformation processes with advanced control technologies to realize a unified platform for big networks and big data. The desulfurization and denitrification process equipment includes the regenerative combustion system of denitration catalyst, but the utilization rate is very low, and it only runs for about 15 days in two years. The best way to deal with gas odor by adding VOC treatment process is combustion, and the distance between the two processes is far, so advanced automation control technology can combine the two control systems well, and the two processes use advanced automation technology to realize the use of combustion system. 2.3.2 Application of CDQ medium pressure steam in coal moisture control process

At present, CDQ technology is becoming more and more popular in coking enterprises. This process realizes the utilization of coke waste heat to generate electricity, and at the same time improves the quality of coke. At the same time, it also produces a lot of steam. The technology of coal moisture control is to indirectly heat coking coal by steam, remove the moisture of coking coal before charging into coke oven, and keep the moisture of coal within the range of about 9%, and then carry out charging and coking operations. In the actual production process, after CDQ steam passes through the temperature and pressure reduction device, the pressure of CDQ steam is controlled within the technological requirements by using advanced industrial electrical automation technology, which is widely used in coal humidity control system. In order to ensure the safety of production and operation, a safety interlock system is set between the two control systems to interlock the steam pressure, flow rate and temperature with the operation of the coal humidity control system, so as to realize safe, stable and continuous operation. 2.3.3 riser waste heat utilization technology

In the coking process of the coking plant, the temperature of raw gas coming out of the carbonization chamber is about 650~750℃, and its heat accounts for about 36% of the total output heat of the coke oven. Due to the influence of process technology, part of the heat of coking plant is lost in the riser, and the temperature at the top of the tower is too high. In recent years, with the continuous development of new technology, the waste heat utilization technology of riser has gradually begun to be widely promoted. Automatic control technology can stabilize the outlet pressure of the device and realize industrial continuous operation. The recovered steam is used in the recovery process of chemical production to improve the application efficiency of internal heat in coking plant and realize the application of energy-saving technology in the industrialization of coking plant.

2.3.4 Optimal control of coke oven heating

Before the coke cake of coke oven is immature, judging by the time, the coke cake is burnt and immature, which is easy to cause environmental protection and quality accidents. At present, the optimization control technology of coke oven heating is constantly developed and updated to meet the production requirements, which can adjust the flow rate of heating gas and the intensity of flue gas distribution in real time, automatically predict the maturity of coke through fire drop management, monitor the number of high and low temperature furnaces and abnormal furnaces in real time, and monitor and guide the height and horizontal uniformity of heating in real time, thus greatly reducing gas under the condition of meeting the process.

2.4 Other aspects

During the operation of industrial electrical automation system in coking plant, power will be emitted in the form of heat, especially those components with large power consumption, such as high-power transistors, resistors and transformers [3]. In addition, when the working environment temperature of the electrical system is high, the heat generated when the equipment works is not easy to dissipate, which leads to the temperature rise of the equipment. For example, semiconductor devices are very sensitive to temperature changes. If the temperature is too high, the gain of the device operating point will be unstable, the signal will be distorted, drift will occur and noise will increase. What's more, it will lead to thermal breakdown. Therefore, the temperature of the semiconductor device itself should not be too high, so the heat dissipation problem should be fully considered when selecting equipment. Make use of the characteristics of the equipment as much as possible to solve the heat dissipation problem. Do not add new heat dissipation equipment to increase the process energy consumption, especially the heat dissipation of the medium-voltage inverter. Use the cooling fan of the equipment itself to pump hot air out of the inverter room through the air duct as much as possible, and reduce the configuration of the indoor air conditioner of the inverter, thus saving more than 20,000 kW h/set of electric energy every year.

3. Strengthen energy-saving management knowledge training.

In the terminal energy utilization, electric energy is one of the main forms of energy and an excellent energy carrier. People's lives, especially industrial production, are mostly based on the utilization of electric energy, which accounts for a large proportion in the terminal utilization, and so is the coking plant. With the rapid development of industrial electrical automation technology, it provides a powerful means for scientific and rational use of energy. However, some coking enterprises are not aware of energy conservation and have low enthusiasm. The main reason is that they lack knowledge of energy utilization and energy-saving management theory and technology, and their development speed as technical equipment is changing with each passing day. Therefore, only by fully ensuring the professional skills of production personnel can we further improve the level of industrial electrical automation system in coking plant and lay a solid foundation for energy saving.
